Nice redesign!

A bug: It looks like the Fox movies are back, but they are not compatible with Disc to Digital.

A request: It would be great to have filter for Movies Anywhere compatibility.

I love the new look and enhanced functionality, excellent job! I noticed some new titles showing up as well, thank you so much! One thing I noticed is when I go to search and begin typing, my cursor is removed from the typing field once the search results beging populating. If it helps, I'm using the latest version of Firefox on Windows 11. I wouldn't mind also being able to press enter after typing a search query and having a page of the search results, but I don't want to seem nitpicky because I'm super grateful for this site.

I do have a goal of creating a settings page where users can enable/disable/configure different settings. Using your example, you'd be able to switch the way search works from it's current form of "search on typing" to "search on enter", so keep an eye out for that eventually.

Is there any way to add a filter for whether the movie has a Blu Ray UPC added? I am not big paying $5 for old movie but 2$ is.
But i can never know which ones have a blu ray upc added. This feature would be awesome.

Why is the site so scewed up lately? My wishlist is gone. My library has huge photos and hard to scroll through. And the Grey bar at the bottom of the page is annoying as well.

Unfortunately, I have noticed the same problem. "My Library" and "Wishlist" used to have their own tab and separate. I can still categorize a movie in the wishlist, but I can no longer find them as a group. Anyway this could be corrected. Despite my gripe, I greatly appreciate all the work and effort to maintain DVDUPC. Thanks.

I realize that advertising helps offset the price of operating the site. However, when the add takes up nearly 3/4 of the page it makes it very aggravating. Is it possible to fix this?

I posted similar a while back. Unusable with a cell phone. Best if using a laptop with popup blockers.

How do you view your "Wishlist"? I started flagging a bunch into my "Wishlist" but don't know how to display just those items. Only thing I can view is what is in "My Library".

Didn't there used to be tools to add titles or UPC's? Hopefully that comes in an update. More than once have I converted a title that does not appear here.

Hello Serpico007, I find that not all are available in Blu-ray. If they are SirDVD would have them listed. Sometimes there is a 'Show More' below the DVD UPCs as he lists as many as possible.

@BlueRayMovies2 is correct, if there isn't a BluRay option, the title is most likely not available in that format (not everything is).

That said, if you see something that you know scans, but isn't on the site, let me know!

Currently the list (i believe) should be 1:1 with vudu, but something could be gonig wrong somewhere. Is there a missing UPC or movie that you can share here with me so I can look into it?

I haven't stopped, I just don't know if vudu is adding new titles...

It seems like lately they have been removing more titles than adding, I'm guessing due to licensing with studios or something similar.

Is there anything that you notice that should be in the list that isn't? I can look into it if you notice something missing.

I used to check Michael's UPC MASTER LIST before he passed (RIP) I remember he posted movies/TV/Bundles almost weekly and let us know which were removed. I asked how to do so and continue his list, but no one replyed on how he got the information. The last time list was updated was February 2022. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1IgK7tIEKngP59PUOs_lsF4P1hbSRIG71tgxncpu1Mws/edit#gid=402351217 I had hoped someone would take over it and help us out.

The site should be to the tee 1:1 what is available. Let me know if you see something that might be out of sync so I can look into what might be wrong.

The old site allowed uploading because it was manually curated, but the current site should be an exact match of what is available for redemption. Let me know if you see something that is missing from the site so I can check into it.

In the comment section of the title The Garden I added a link to the barcode. I've tested the barcode myself and it does work. Can you see about adding it?

Give it a shot again and let me know how the experience on mobile is now. I've disabled all of the annoying trash ads that covers the screen, they weren't suppose to be there. If they are still there, give it a minute they should be gone very soon.

I've used UPC Item DB, but their API doesn't have nearly as much detailed information as DVD UPC. I was suggesting that DVD UPC add an API that allows querying the info already in DVD UPC.

I'm game for imlpementing an api if you have use for it.

People/bots already scrape the site for the data so I'd much rather just have an official api that doesn't take all the unneccesarry bandwidth.

Actually I might just make it open source soon so others (such as yourself) can help make the site even better. My day job is killing me and dvdupc deserves more love.

Yeah definitely, I'd love to help out and add this functionality in. I can even make an API endpoint to make submitting new movies and UPCs easier!

Wow! Three months with no new movies added. I have tried a couple of movies that have been here a while and they are now not accepted/included. I can remember 'Galaxy Quest'.

AND . . . it is a direct to digital???? I clicked on Fantastic Voyage, I've been hoping it came to D2D but what it did was take me to Vudu to puchase it at regular price. Bummer. You can't even communicate with the editor as before. I will stick to this site. :]

Yes, if you would. I add them whenever I see something I want to watch. Right now I have 411 movies and documentaries and 36 TV.

Hey richthescumbag, if the new entries are from your list, THANKS! That was quite a list!

That is the site I use to get UPC's when they are not on the list. . . Narrow Margin is not a movie I own, not intersted in mafia movies.

Click "My DVDUPC" in the navigation and it will show both your library (titles you own) and your wishlist (titles you want).

Also, you have to be logged in to see it in the nav.

The process is automated daily. Any change is marked in the history page of the site under the category related to the change. If there hasn't been a change for a month, which there hasn't been for the "added" section, then it's because nothing new has been added at the source.

That said, things can and do go wrong... Do you hava a link to the list you've mentioned or a few titles along with the UPC so I can cross check what's incorrect here?

His last entry was February 2022. He used to update almost daily. Just as you he had movies, TV, Bundles and Removal tabs at the bottom. Someone posted that he would take over and look for updates, but updates never came. At least I found your site which is much more information, images and tons of DVD and Blurays. tv shows d2d got removed from vudu from what I've heard and from experience, this site is usually up to date on what is available for d2d. Occasionally there's a couple that people find that are able for d2d that aren't on this site but rarely.

I updated the site with "The Passion of the Christ" just four days ago, immediately after you mentioned it. Considering everything I'm balancing – a full-time job, a family with young kids – is this not fast enough? Did I really fail you?

This is the only site left to even list D2D movies/TV/Bundles. JB99 entered a site mentioning Passion of the Christ, which I went to the sight and have no idea how he figured out it was released to D2D. So the site, to me, is worthless. Thank you SirDVD, for your reply to unneccesary attack of this site. Yes, at time I get frustrated because no movies have been entered. If there were another way for me to find them as SirDVD does, I would try locating that way as well. Buy here you get to go to Amazon and watch Trailers to see if it is the movie you want and if you like it when purchased, rather than enter your movies over and over individually until you find one that has actually been added. Try that Chivasusmc81 and you'll realize it would take you hours/days to check your movies for D2D. Be grateful for the site. If you are going to look for faults, your are going find them. If you are looking for perfection, you are living in a dreamed up world.

THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST BLU REY WORKS FINE, JUST PULLED UP THE $2 VERSION WITHOUT A PROBLEM. That dude is having human issues, not issues with DVDUPC.COM lololoolololol

Vudu, became Dudu when Fandango bought them. Nothing happens over night and actions that should be smooth aren't. Be patience, I've had the same issues you have. Fandango didn't buy Vudu to improve the system or service, they bought it to kill the competition.

Thanks, Bildo111. I will see about installing Firefox on phone. Also, I have a crappy Consumer Cellular phone (max10) or something like that. So, I am never sure if it is the phone or the site, but as you said, most likely, the site. :]

If you have IOS I think you have to use Firefox, I think the android process is different. Even with a generic or consumer cell, you should be able to download firefox, that browser is made to the lowest common denominator.

I've also found if you tweak the angle of the barcode you get better reults. Some angles capture more flicker than others. I've also printed out the barcode and scanned that when I can't get a clean angle from the screen.

IOS users can use VUDU on Safari - all other browsers are whatever... I've been doing 100 movies a year every January for the last 7 years, I'm up to 866 movies in my VUDU library so far!

The trick is to make sure your bank app and your VUDU have your address/location updated to what THEY auto generate: meaning, my address is a condo but one app thinks I'm in an apartment so whatever, I let it auto populate. On the other app my address auto populates backwards and lists the unit number on the top line and my physical address on the bottom line, whatever! I let it auto populate and BOOM, I can D2D all day! I have an iMac that I use to pull up the UPC codes since the ads on mobile are whatever, and I use VUDU through Safari on my 2022 iPhone SE (a rinky dink phone) to take the pictures of the UPC codes.

Not to sound rude, but that should be a no brainer. I believe if your physical addredd and billing address are not aligned, the app tells you. I know it used to because a friend of mine moved and called me for help because he didn't know where to update his profile on the VUDU website.

All of this was easier and smoother before NBC Universal Comcast took over.

At least 15-20 movies were added monthly and always posted in the VUDU blog. You didn't need a web browser, you scanned the barcode frm the Vudu App, which is how I believe Android still does it and I never had a problem reading barcodes unless the printing was bad and didn't reflect back enough light.

Printing? LOL The new UPCs work fine. I just tried some of the new cartoons and they scan fine, from DVDUPC on my iMac screen to VUDU (on the internet/Safari) on my Iphone SE.

VUDU D2D works fine. The company changing from Walmart to Fandango never made a difference. The recent logo change didn't make a difference. Not to sound rude, but I wrote that my addresses were NOT aligned but that's how they autopopulated, so I left it and everything works fine.

BlueRayMovies2. The blog was taken offline when Fandango bought Vudu from Walmart. It was a newsletter that updated at least twice a month. It promoted new releases, had any promotional codes that were active and listed every titled added to D2D every month. I knew that Vudu was on the block when updates started to be less frequent and after about 3-4 month, Vudu announced that they had agreed to a deal with NBC Universal, the blog stopped updating and 3 months later was taken offline and prices increased about 30% accross the board. Older titles for the most part used to be $4.99, they imediately jumped to $7.99, now $9.99. New Releases were generally $14.99, now they are $24.99. Customer service used to also respond in 24 hours, my average response time since Fandango took over is 3 days, and even then, it's an automated respons that generally doesn't recolve my issue.

Like I said, NBC bought Vudu, because people were startng to realize it was cheaper to buy a movies from Vudu than it was to rent from Fandango or Comcast. The purchase killed the competition. I have no idea why Fandango is so gready. As much as I hate iTunes, many titles are less there, so if they are MA titles, I buy them from Apple, just to make sure Fandanago doesn't get my money.

MGM and Amazon titles are generally half as much from Apple, only issue is those titles are not MA, so you can't watch them on Vudu's player, only Apple TV. Apple is also starting to do TV shows for less!

I haven't been able to get any of the recently added titles to port either, it's not you. Many of them give me the warning that the UPC is not eligable at this time.

Vudu doesn't have an ETA, because they don't give AF! If you want to fix something, you fix it. They leave things broken and make zero concessions for the inconvience or wait. I have yet to have asolid resolution with them since Fandango took over. At one point, I was charged for a rental of a movie I would never watch and I've also never rented a movie from Vudu. It took 6 weeks and a letter from my Atorney Generals office to get my refund. Vudu appologized, but I reminded them, they claimed 48 hour resolution and it was nearly two months before I got a reply and it took legal intervention.

the whole service is jacked up. i can't even attempt to redeem anythiny without issues.

the upcs have been direct from the source, but it's obvious the source is now screwed.

i'll probably try to implement user submitted upcs like the original iteration of the site and just have the community figure it out since i'm having issues doing it alone.

fandango has managed to screw up a good thing. What they are working on is making this so difficult that we will stop using it. Vudu was designed to make home entertainment easy, affordable and convienent. Fandango didn't like the fact that Walmart was doing it for far less than they would, so they bought them to fix the prices.

Fandango didn't screw anything up, they blew it up, on purpose.
