Laura, Frank and Nathan were strangers living in San Francisco until they had one thing in common - jury duty. All three of them were selected to serve on the panel for one of the city's most high profile cases: EVAN BARBER, an infamous serial killer known as the Midnight Murderer. The jury ultimately found Evan guilty and he was executed. A short time later, Laura finds herself stunned by a news story reporting that Nathan has been found dead.
