A young man falls in love at first sight with a stunning redhead he spots in the university cafeteria, but their ensuing affair is riddled with bloodcurdling details. Foremost among these is the woman's beauty secret, which entails the consumption of human flesh. This stylized horror film won the prize for Best Canadian First Feature at the Toronto International Film Festival.
